*tour guide voice* and if you look to your left, you can see the entire Doctor Who fandom collapsing in on itself

*tour guide voice* and if you look to the right, you can see all the Europeans on tumblr going insane over Eurovision

Hello, beautiful boys.

List of people considered for the role of the Doctor over the years, but ultimately didn’t get it:

Ron Moody, Richard Griffiths, Bernard Cribbins, Fulton Mackay, Rowan Atkinson, Mark McGann, Robert Lindsay, Eric Idle, Tim McInnerney, John Sessions, Rik Mayall, Anthony Head, Tony Slattery, Billy Connolly, Hugh Grant, Bill Nighy, Eddie Izzard, Robert Carlyle, Paterson Joseph, Russell Tovey, David Walliams and Benedict Cumberbatch.

It’s almost terrifying that Tumblr has ignored the big reveal in Doctor Who in favour of Eurovision. You better have sorted yourselves out by the morning.

Five facts about reading:

rumputsantoso:

Fact 1: Reading can make you a better conversationalist.

Fact 2: Neighbours will never complain that your book is too loud.

Fact 3: Knowledge by osmosis has not yet been perfected. You’d better read.

Fact 4: Books have stopped bullets - reading might save your life.

Fact 5: Dinosaurs didn’t read. Look what happened to them.

Too many emotions.

Sometimes I think the biggest issue with politics is that they keep moving the politicians around all the time so no one really knows what they’re doing. Wouldn’t it make more sense to have teachers in charge of education, doctors for health, police officers for crime, women for women, and so on?

Most of these politicians have never actually done a normal day’s work in their life. You should use people from the field who know how it works, right?

People think I’m kidding when I say I’m going to have a library in my house when I’m older

and I’m like no

you don’t understand

have to

There is no other way to fit everything

I showed a colleague a picture of my new book wall the other day and she said, “Oh, is that your inspiration for your room?” and I had to explain that it actually was my room, and still didn’t show all my books, and I think she didn’t really believe me.

Vastra why the fuck are you even wearng that veil it doesn’t hide anything

woah plot twist she was a lizard underneath that slightly obscuring veil

The veil was meant to be a lot thicker than that, but it wasn’t I think we have to assume that in-universe, it was.
